GUEST:  Jackie Brown, Origami Owl

You hear a lot about young people, "kids", today. Mostly about getting into trouble or wasting their lives on Facebook. Stories like these can make you afraid for our future as the saying goes "Our children are our future." Worry no more.  There are young people, like 14-year-old Isabella, who show that the good ol' American spirit is still alive and doing well.

Isabella wanted a car when she turned 16 but wasn't sure where it was going to come from.  That was less than 2 years ago and in June of this year, Isabella turned 16 and had more than enough money to buy a car - a really nice car! All because she started selling jewelry she made to her friends at school and people on her street. The jewelry became so popular she opened her first kiosk inside a mall and has never looked back.

Jackie Brown has that same kind of American spirit and loves retelling her life story through the creation of these timeless time-pieces. It's so easy to showcase your life in different ways every day. Feeling like you need your lovey (pet) with you today for encouragement? How about showing of your child's softball prowess? Fill your Life Locket with the charms that tell your story...and the story is always changing.
